Hirajima Natsumi, Okada Mei, Hazuki Himari, and Negishi Ai arrive at a luxurious beach house. Soon after arriving, they are informed that they will be competing in a series of challenges, the overall winner of which will be deemed the "center" of Merm4id. These challenges are interspersed with gravure-type segments that feature all four unit members. Challenges include guessing what sports each member played in school, cooking omurice, drawing logos from memory, guessing smoothie flavors, a capture-the-flag game involving inner tubes, and guessing items related to their D4DJ characters through touch.

Man Sik is a single father who raises his 7-years-old daughter Ye Na alone. He has yet to register her birth, because he wants her birth certificate to be the same as the other kids, which is to have a mother and father. In order to do so, he offers a deal to a woman from Vietnam: he will pay her 20 million won to put her name on a marriage certificate as his wife and Ye Na's birth certificate as her mother. Thirty years into the future, society is run by corporations. One such, corporation, Q4, has developed the technology to create dreams. As a result, they have created a powerful place within the state. A small terrorist group, called Tech-No attempts to disrupt the dream channel. A no name cop with the Neuro Investigation Unit is put on the case. As he digs deeper he is forced to make a decision: is he fighting for the right team?
